Hi there, I’d love to share an update on some of the things we're working on at Buffer. Thanks so much for all the encouragement and support, we’re honored to help you with your social media management. 😊 1. Facebook page tagging + a new way to create social media posts Now more than ever, it’s important to create high-quality, authentic social media posts to reach a wider audience. We’ve been trialing a new way to create posts in the Buffer browser extension that enables you to customize your posts for each social network, and I’m excited to share that we are currently rolling it out in the Buffer dashboard, too. Keep an eye out for it in the coming days. With the new composer experience you can: - Tag Facebook pages and Twitter accounts.
- Create unique text, media, and link posts for each social network - all in one go.
- Save time without sacrificing the quality of your posts.
 2. Helping tackle spam on Twitter Twitter recently announced changes to their platform to prevent people from misusing multiple accounts to artificially amplify a message. Although these kinds of changes can be a little disruptive at first, we think this is great news for the Twitter ecosystem, and we believe that our new composer experience is a small step towards helping marketers create authentic content. It does mean that we will be making an adjustment to the composer over the coming weeks. The adjustment is that you will only be able to schedule content to one Twitter account at a time. You will still be able to schedule content to multiple Twitter accounts with one Buffer account, just not the same message to multiple Twitter accounts simultaneously. We’re currently exploring solutions to make posting unique content to multiple accounts easier and streamlined while doing the right thing by the Twitter community. For example, we have plans to help you create unique content for multiple Twitter posts in the same composer session and are exploring ways to help you easily schedule retweets for related accounts. 3. Social media superpowers with Reply We’ve been excited to deliver several new enhancements to our social media engagement product, Buffer Reply, in recent weeks. Here's a catch-up on several of the most recent additions: - Save replies to common questions and conversations so you can engage with your audience most effeciently
- See the full details on past conversations so you can respond with all the context you need
- Undo a reply immediately after sending it 😅
This is just a sampling of the many engagement features in Reply that help you feel like a superhero. We’re eager to continue to be transparent about changes to Buffer and celebrate enhancements and new features with you as we go. If our emails ever feel too much, you can unsubscribe here. Or if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to hit reply. We’ll be cheering you on for social media success, always! 🙂 |
